Is Discontinuing Delzicol Abruptly Advisable?

Yes, I couldn t get my delzicol down one day this week and they fell on some dirty dishes, so I didn t take them that day. I haven t taken them for 4 days and everything seems to be okay. I am probably in remission because I have taken delzicol for 3 years. What do you think of abruptly stopping delzicol?

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear yes your in remission means you have to continue maintainence therapy. longer you're off the drug, the higher your risk of suffering a relapse, he says . if your suffering from mild to moderate problems if you withdraw medication leads to relapse, and the relapse may not respond to previous dose or drug you need to increase dose or add another drug. So continue your medication.. If any query feel free to ask.. Take care.
