Is Drinking Cold Water During Pregnancy Harmful?

I'm 34 wks pregnant and my son moves a lot. I drink ice water all day. I know that when my doc gives me my weekly NST test (I'm 41), she will give me ice water to get the baby moving. Am I keeping my baby awake or hurting him by drinking ice water all day?

Hello
Welcome to HCM
Drinking cold water doesn't hurt your baby neither it will disturb your baby.Do not worry.
We usually give cold water to patients just to make a note of the good movements of the baby. You can drink cold water. But make sure that you should not get sore throat and other respiratory problems because of that.
Hope you are happy with the answer.
Thank you
