Is Ear Pain A Symptom Of Sore Throat Infection?

A little above a week now I had severe sore throat. It kind of affected my right ear. I don t hear very well with it. I was told not to worry that after 14 days antibiotics treatment (amoxil), I would be OK. I ve been on treatment for about 10 days now and my sore throat is almost gone but I still cannot hear clearly With my right ear. In fact it s like there s a shutter that cut off sound in my ear. I m very worried.
