Is Eating Almonds Prior To Colonoscopy A Cause For Concern?
I am having a colonoscopy done on Monday at noon. I had a large handful of almonds at 4pm today (44 hours before the procedure)...forgot about the special diet! Given that the diet said no nuts 2 days prior, will this complicate the visualization of the colon? Should I cancel my appointment?
it can cause constipation. so it has to be avoided day before colonoscopy . but dr give laxatives on the day of colonoscopy so multiple motion occurs and intestine becomes clear and there should be no fecal material to see it properly. so it depends on the day of procedure
