Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Eating Raw Rice Daily Harmful, And What Should I Do To Stop This Habit?
I addicted to eating raw rice. I feel like to eat everyday, everytime. Sometime, I just eat raw rice for breafast and lunch instead of another food. I can t get rid of it. But I realize some its Harms. I lack of blood, I have toothace. I m really worried about that.
Eating rice daily is not good for health unless portion control is followed. Instead of rice, one can try millets, brown rice, lower GI rice, or mixed rice with millets. Also, taking veggies with every meal will reduce hunger frequency. Taking berries and strawberries will help sugar craving reduction.
For toothache, it is better to get examined and for lack of blood, please get complete hemogram, iron and vitamin profile.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
