Is Ejection Fraction Of 40% After Getting Defib Installed Normal?

hi I have two stents placed and I have a defib installed I have had 11 shocks from my defib plus 22 times I have been in v tach as recently as june 1st my heart beat went up to 270 and it took the defib 3 times to bring it down not getting shocked but lowering my heart beat if it had went up one more time it would have shocked me. The doctors act like it was not that big a deal because the defib did what it was supposed to do. The doctors keep saying I am getting better but I have watched my ejection fraction keep going down right now it is at 40%. my question is am I getting better or am I worse. I went to rehab and my blood pressure dropped so low they put me in the hospital. I have never used or tried any drug not overweight ate healthy and my work and love of sports kept me in shape I am 48 what do I have to look forward to

untill the EF IS 40 % You dont have to worry as this percentage is very good for your condition, indication still that the left ventricle status is quite satisfactory,with your problem
sports ,stress, heavy work as such is not advised in your status.
what you are told is true the defibrillator does its job as it is very sensitive
