Is Energy Drink Advisable While On Xanax?
I take 0.25mg of Xanax daily or as needed. I just started taking this medical to help with anxiety. I do like the taste of a 16oz Monster Energy drink from time to time. Even the ones with lower caffeine. Is it safe to drink one of these drinks while on the medication?

Xanax is a benzodiazepine drug. The drug is safe to use if used with proper prescription. It is safe even in high doses but any concomitant use of sedative or hypnotic drugs should be avoided.
You are taking Xanax on SOS basis or as needed and its safe to take Energy drink with this. No need to worry. The energy drink will result in delayed onset of sleep with this drug.
