Is Enlarged Areola Sign Of Pregnancy?

I had a surgicial abortion on Jan 12. I bled for a couple weeks following the procedure. On February 14 I started a period, which seemed like a normal period. On the 17th, while still menstruating I had unprotected sex. He did not ejaculate inside me; however I realize this it only takes 1. Now I have distinct feelings of pregnancy - especailly enlarged areola. I thought since it was at the time of my period it was near impossible. Pregnancy test is negative; however I am still 2 weeks out from my expected period. Is it likely I could be pregnant again?

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Unprotected sexual intercourse during menstruation is completely safe as far as conception is concerned, but, it carries the risk of infection as the access is more. The enlarged areola could be a finding from your previous pregnancy. Moreover, conception cannot occur without ovulation and ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next menstrual period. So, you have no chance of conception. Please wait for your next period and there is no need for any more pregnancy tests now. Hope this helps.
