Is Esophageal Spasms A Symptom Of PMS?

I suffer from esophageal spasms infrequently, but when I do, its usually the two weeks of PMS. Then I ll go three to six months without an episode. And then it ll come back no matter what I eat or drink. I lived off saltines and water for two weeks because it was too painful to eat or drink anything else. Is this a common symptom associated with PMS?

Hi.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your concerns.
With the history you have put through, this does not look to be PMS at all, as it wiuld then be a monthy event.
The problems you have noted are suggestive of severe esophagitis and an Upper GI Endoscopy would be diagnostic and gives a plan of further treatment.
I would suggest you the following:
PPI or ranitidine
Antacid get
Domperidone
No stress and anxiety
Early dinner, small frequent meals.
This will help you recover permanently.
