Is Excess Burping Curable?

for the pat few months (3-4) i have been burping a lot. while it has lessened since it frist started, it is still there. but that is not my problem. i am a 20 year old female and i am burping like a man/sailor. i would like for it to stop. is there a cure

Hi,

Although burping is not the direct sign of any illness, if you swallow the air during eating, then burping may happen. Even if you just swallow the air deliberately in large amount, then also you would experience the burp and sometimes it becomes the habit for the patient.

It is a kind of functional disorders, apart from this it could be due to acid peptic disease. So I would suggest to try Rabeprazole with Domperidone. Consult your physician for prescription.
