Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...
hi iam 15 weeks pregnant.i would like to know whether eyebrows threading will cause any abnormalities to my baby.even the beauticians are rejecting pregnant womens by telling various reasons.actually wat will happen if i thread my eyebrows.plz reply.
There is no connection between your eyebrows and your pregnancy. The beauticians are misinformed. Anything cosmetic you do to the outside of your body will not hurt the baby- so you can safely dye your hair, do your nails, remove your hair, get a massage, anything that helps you feel pampered is safe and OK as long as it is not harmful to you.
Some beauty facilities are reluctant to touch pregnant women for concern about liability, but I can assure you, hair removal cannot hurt your baby.
I hope I was able to answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy,
Dr. Brown
