Is Fatigue And Weakness Related To Congestive Heart Failure?
Hi Doctor.
My mother, 80 years of age, has been suffering congestive heart failure for about 8 years by now. The last time she went to have routine medical check up, her doctor said that the condition of her heart was just doing fine. But the problem is she says that she keeps being fatigue and weak almost everyday. I told the doctor then she prescribed Ubi Q for my mother. Does her fatigue have to do with her heart condition? Is Ubi Q good to get rid of her fatigue. Thanks for advice

I understand your concern. Fatigue is a common symptom present in almost every patient with congestive heart failure. In addition, the age of your mother is also add up to increase the fatigue.
Ubi Q tablets compose of L- arginine, which is an aminoacid useful to decrease symptoms due to fatty plaques in the arteries by releasing Nitrous oxide which is a vasodilator. It help in increasing blood circulation to organs and also increase blood supply to heart, thus decrease the fatigue to some extent.
In addition, she can use Multivitamin tablet (like revital capsules or supradyn) once daily which will help in keep her active.
