Is Fatigue, Depression And Feeling Of Dread Serious?

I think I m depressed. A few years ago my father mentioned to me that he thought I was and I passed it off and got over it but lately I feel like I did back then. I m tired all the time, even when I sleep for a long time. I get these feelings of dread and like nothing will ever go right or work out for me and I ve had thought about ending it all and I m really starting to worry that it s something very serious. am I depressed and do I need to seek help?

Hello
Welcome to HCM

You have symptoms like tiredness, easy fatiguability, feeling of dread or fear or anticipatory anxiety. Feeling that nothing will go right and have hopelessness. All these symptoms which you have mentioned are the symptoms of depression. As per my opinion you should consult a good psychiatrist for expert opinion.

Medicines like SSRI, SNRI, tricyclic antidepressants etc are commonly used in depression. These medicines are safe and free of serious side effects.

Thanks
