Hi, My son is 8 months old and he fell and bumped the back of his head this morning. Now he is running a fever and is really fussy. He doesn't have a bump, and it is not red. Is the fever related, or are we just unlucky and he is happening to get sick now :(
Namasthe Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
It is just co-incidental that he is getting sick. The baby looks absolutely fine and there is no cause for concern. If you notice any of the signs , consult Pediatrician/Pediatric Surgeon at earliest
1. Excessive crying or excessive sleeping 2. Abnormal movements of the body which could be convulsion 3. Persistent Vomiting: 1 or 2 episode of vomiting is quite common in Pediatric Head injury and is not cause for concern. 4. Loss of consciousness
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
