Sir can u tell me please and please help me . My name is karan i have unprotected sex with out condom with a sex worker in kolkata sonagachi before one weak ago. now i have been suffer from mildy fever and joint ache headache some sore throat now i feel i am suffring from hiv. Please tell me these are symptoms of hiv ?

Hi dear

Even though promiscuous sex with sex workers carrya a high risk of HIV transmission, it is not necessary to get HIV infection always.
Also, the earliest symptoms of hiv appear only after 6-8weeks of exposure. ( even though the first symptoms will be some what similar as you described)

So don't worry

But since you had a high risk sex, you should undergo HIV screening.
For that, consult your doctor.

Also avoid these kind of high risk behaviour in future
