Is Fever Due To Teeth Coming And What Is The Medication Required?
My son just made 5 years old at the end of August. He has had a high fever of 103.5 for 2 days. It appears that he has teeth coming in the bottom back on both sides of his mouth. Is this causing the fever. If so, what can I give him. The fever is worse at night.

Fever is not due to eruption of teeth.
Treat with Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly depending on the severity of fever.
Tepid sponging along with paracetamol several times will reduce fever.
Consult pediatrician if it does not reduce within 2-3 days.
