Hi,

The treatment of fibroid depends on the factors like:
-Whether it is symptomatic or not, means is it associated with excessive bleeding during periods or/and pain during periods etc.
- Size,number, location of fibroids.
- Family completed or not.

So, if you have completed the family and fibroid is symptomatic:
- As the fibroid is of medium size, your wife can try medical treatment first. Medical treatment with GnRH agonists or progesterone receptor modulators can help to decrease the size of the fibroid.
- If fibroid doesn't respond to medical management, size and symptoms increase, you may need to choose surgical management.

If you are taking treatment for infertility:
- Medical management can be tried as mentioned above.
- As the fibroid displacing the endometrial canal if it is affecting the implantation, laparoscopic myomectomy can also opted.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
