Dermatologist 's  Response
Permethrin is a topical treatment for scabies. It had to be applied below neck at single overnight application at night all over the body.It is not indicated for daily application. The itching you are having could be a manifestation of scabies and may not be due to permethrin. Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area instead of permethrin for symptomatic relief. Regards
