Is Frequent Urination A Side Effect Of The Tablet Risperdal?
Just wondering... I'm taking Risperdal and it seems like I have to pee constantly (every five minutes or so) but only a tiny bit comes out each time. Once I go, I'm fine but then five or so minutes later, I have to go again (but not bad... just as if I am just starting to feel like i have to go) Is this normal with this medicine? It doesn't cause me to get up from sleep constantly though. Only while I'm already awake.
I have gone through your query. Risperdal contains Risperidone, is a atypical antipsychotic. There is no adverse effect of increased frequency of micturation associated with it. But it may cause urinary incontinence. In incontinence one cannot retain urine in the bladder. Your problem is completely different and urine test (serum PSA level if you are a male) is advised after consulting an urologist.
