Is Getting Nauseous Before A Bowel Movement A Matter Of Concern?

I has surgery on Tue last week with light anesthesia and a pain block from the knee down. yesterday I started having bm but each time it comes with nausea If i can't get to the toilet right away I vomit. i don't think the surgery has anything to do with it but I am wondering why I get so nauseous before a bm should I be worried? this is not the first time this has occured

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

Anesthetic agents can cause the vomiting or nausea but this is happening at the time of recovering from anesthesia. It is uncommon happening after a week of surgery or long last up to week after the surgery. Antibiotic given after the surgery may cause the gastritis and it may be the cause of nausea. Hyperacidity may be the cause of this. In my opinion for all the reason, Omeprazole with Domperidone can be used.
