Is Glaciphoge SR Or Galvus Better For High Blood Sugar?

I am 65 years old and have high blood sugar 140F and 190 PP.

I had consulted 2 doctors, one has advised me GlaciPhoge SR and other has adviced Galvus 50/500.

I do walk 1 hour every day. Please suggest which is better medicine and is there a need to take medicine?

the choice of medicine is largely personal and so I would say you follow one doctor only. The more you follow, the more opinions you will get and the more confused you may get.

Personally, I would suggest to a patient of my own that he/she start with glycomet. If the sugars are not suitably controlled, then I would move to galvusmet

Glyciphage contains only metformin. Galvus 50/500 has two medicines, a component of which is metformin.

Check sugars regularly, preferrably a weak after starting medicine
