Is Gliosis Curable?

Hi, My name is Bensigar and this question is for my friend affected with Gliosis, Below is the 3T MRI report and Is there any solution for this? Screening sagittal T2 Wt sequence through whole spine: Loss of cervical lordosis is noted. Mild osteophytic lipping of vertebral bodies is noted. Degenerative endplate changes are noted at L3, L4, L5 and D12 vertebral bodies. Schmorl s nodes are noted at L1, L2 and L3 vertebral bodies. Spinal cord and conus are normal in size and signal intensity. C5-6, C6-7 and C7-D1 discs show posterior bulge indenting the thecal sac. L4-5 and L5-S1 disc shows posterior bulge indenting the thecal sac. Impression: Focal gliosis within right high frontal region

Hello,

I am not sure you have provided the whole report. All the report describes the neck region and then in the end it concludes with saying simply gliosis in frontal region which is in the head, not neck. Anyway there is no need to treat/cure gliosis. Gliosis is simply a remnant from an old process, sort of like a scar remaining in the skin after a wound, so no need to do anything about it, it's not an evolving process. Causes can be many like trauma, stroke, infection etc, from saying gliosis only is not possible to identify the cause, may have been there for many years, even since birth. If you can provide the whole report I would be happy to discuss the matter again.
