Is Going Back To Intake Of Progiluton Instead Of Femoston Due To Weight Gain And Missed Periods Advisable?
Good evening ! I ve been taking HRT with Progiluton for 6 months . I was really happy , feeling good . Then on regular check up doctor advise me to move to Femoston . Reason - he told me Femoston has better formula . So 3 months now I m taking Femoston . First month I didn t get my period . I put on weight 2 kg ... With progiluton I was feeling much better ! Is it ok to go back to progiluton ?!

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM. Both Progiluton and Femoston are combined pill which have the hormones(estrogen and progesterone).Since Femoston has some advantages in terms of lipid profile and incidence of bleeding over Progiluton.I shall advice you to go back to Progiluton if you are not fine.This will not have any adverse effects.Hope this helps.
