Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. My 17 year old wants to do the Master Cleanse. She is almost 300 lbs, and does moderate exercise, does not each much junk food, and can lose weight, but her ankles hurt and she wants to try it. I'm concerned about her energy levels (she's in school and we are working out more), etc. Can she do it?? Also, I think she should add in fruits, nuts and seeds, plus a daily vitamin if so.
Simple rule is to maintain negative caloric intake balance with all the ingredients of complete diet. That means your spending of calories should be more than what you eat.
For detoxification, most safe method is Ayurveda's Panchakarma if you can find any centre near you. Diet plan is inherent in the procedure.
Hope the info is helpful.
