Is Green Tea Recommended To Treat Cyst On Inner Thigh?

I have what appears to be a cyst on my inner thigh. The center is hard and around it is very swollen. It s extremely painful and difficult to walk. I ve used green tea and a hot compress to take down some swelling, but now it s starting to bruise. Is there anything else I can do at home to make this go away?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

The swelling is painful and swollen which suggests that it is an infection. In such a case it is recommended to take a week's course of an oral antibiotics (penicillin group e.g Amoxycillin for a week) along with an oral anti-inflammatory/pain killer like ibuprofen twice daily.

Green tea has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties and is good foor health but I doubt it is going to benefit much in your case because the cyst/swelling is due to infection which needs to be treated with an oral antibiotic.

regards
