Is Having Coitus Interruptus Method Of Intercourse On The 14th Day Of The Cycle A Safe Contraception Method?

My wife is 37 yrs old. I performed coitus interruptus with my wife yesterday but I am not sure if it was safe contraception method. Her periods were over on 22 Feb 2014. It was her 14 th day of MC after last period.I have read about its failure rates on internet. Please help me out on this issue.
