Is Having Sore Lump At The Top Of Ear Near Hair Line A Serious Cause For Concern?

Have soar lump at top of ear near the hair line been there about 2 days no really visable but can feel it s there, tender to touch also been getting dizzy spells every now and then especially when on the go, just in the last couple of hours slight ear starting to build up, what could this mean? Should I seek medical advice over weekend or would it be ok to wait till doctors open on Monday

I have gone through your query regarding sore lump at the top of ear near the hair line.

As you said that lump is quite small and not visible but one may palpate it, this you have noticed just 2 days back.

Most likely it is the lymph node and is there due to scalp infection some times such lump appears because of dandruff of scalp. One thing in your case is that you are having dizziness off and on this symptom should not be ignored and it should be ruled out by examination by your ENT doctor.
