Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have mastrubated from age 18+ to 29 regularly with a gap of 1 month . sometimes gap becomes 3 months sometimes 3 days but usually after 2 times with 3 days gap i stop for one month at least . i was doing this to stop wet dreams which were occuring from age 14 . sometimes it helped and sometimes not . i am getting normal errection now with ejaculation time varying from 10 min to 2 hr depending upon my speed during sex. I found puss cells 4-5 hpf in my urine test today as i was still fighting with wet dreams . now i am not mastrubating , but after having sex also i am facing wet dreams . is it normal? Had my habits effected my potency ? I am physically fit with 77 kg of weight and 71 inches of height , i do exercise regularly and mantain a healthy diet and meditate also.
Hello there, With your description I do not think potency is an issue. You seem very fit and what you are undergoing is normal. Wet dreams sometimes happen when your sexual desire is more compared to what you are getting. What you can try is something called edging-Basically masturbate but as you feel the need to ejaculate slow down and again build up. This cycle would help you reduce your nightfall.
Do you think having wet dreams is bad or a sign of poor health in any way? Based on your query it seems you are concerned about your wet dreams.
This is not something to be worried about, it is perfectly healthy and despite having regular sexual intercourse if you still have wet dreams it means you are at your sexual peak and are sexually perfectly healthy.
I would suggest you worry less about such things, enjoy your sex life and be safe at all times during sexual contact.
Best wishes.
