I understand your issue. HCG helps to maintain pregnancy and prevent abortion. The doctor may have prescribed these injections in view of the fibroids as they may cause abortions. HCG is also normally produced in the body during pregnancy and this is given as a supplement to the original hormone produced in the body. It is given till 10 weeks every week or twice a week as per the case.
You may take it as there is no harm to the baby after its use and it prevents abortion. You will also need folic acid tablets till 12 weeks. regular visits to your gynecologist and regular ultrasound scans to detect the babies growth as well as status of the fibroids will also be needed.
