Hi,
VerSerc contains betahistine that is a histamine analogue is used in the treatment of Meniere's disease and its associated symptoms like vertigo or dizziness, tinnitus,
hearing loss etc. It may cause headache, feeling sick or nausea, indigestion or acid reflux,
abdominal bloating,
abdominal pain, drowsiness, vomiting etc.
On the other hand, Stugeron contains
cinnarizine which belongs to the group of medications known as antihistamines is used in the treatment of
motion sickness, vertigo or dizziness, Meniere's disease etc. But it has side effects too. Someone may experience headache, nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness, stomach pain etc., during taking this medication.
Both VerSerc and Stugeron induced side effects are mild as well as self limiting and usually go away over time. Consult your doctor if things become bothersome.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
