Is Heavy Feeling On Toes Correlated To Compressed Disc Surgery?

I am an acupuncturist who, in the past, treated a man who had lost the toe nail on the second toe of both feet simultaneously. It was discovered that he had a tumour on his spine which, when subsequently removed, led to him being on crutches for the rest of his life. I now have a client who has a heavy feeling on the second and third toes of one foot after having surgery for compressed discs L5 and S1 and I am worried that perhaps it may be more serious. This is 10 years after the surgery. She has been back to the hospital - should she push for more information - is the toe symptom relevant do you think? Thanks, Anne

If after 10 years of surgery he is just complaining of heavy ness in toes, do not be afraid as it is not related to the spine surgery and chance s of its progression is also not there. Does your client is alcoholic or diabetic. This make him more prone to nerve compression. Tablet methylcobal can help him. If he would be my patient I would advice him to take one tablet daily.
