Is High Blood Pressure And Headache A Cause For Concern?

I have had a headache for 2 days straight ,can t get rid of it no matter what I do or take..Checked my blood pressure it keeps going up...It now is188/111 pulse is 108.. I know I m under alot of stress lately but my primary took me off my blood pressure meds 4 mths ago I been on since 32 yrs old now I m 53. Advice Please..

Hello,

I would explain that the headaches seem to be related to high blood pressure values.

For this reason, the main thing to do is to treat high blood pressure.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and discussing the possibility of starting antihypertensive therapy.

Some blood lab tests are also necessary (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, thyroid hormone levels, fasting glucose, blood lipid profile, kidney and liver function tests).
