Is High Bp And Pulse Rate After Strenuous Physical Activity Normal?
I am a 33 year old male, about 175 pounds, 6"2 tall, I am in really good shape I run alot and play sports a couple of times a week. I just recently took my blood pressure after playing softball and it read 167/100 and my pulse rate was about 90. I took it again about a half hour later and it read 122/75 and my pulse rate was 75 is this normal.
hai, It is absolutely normal. physical exercise will result in increased heart pumping rate and blood pressure. Reading Blood pressure immediately after strenuous exercise will show increase in blood pressure and pulse rate.it is physiological response.
As normal Blood pressure ranges from systolic 100- 120/diastolic 60-80 mmHg.
after half an hour reading your blood pressure came to normal range (122/75mmHg).
thank you hope i answered your query
