Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Praveen G's Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM I understand your concerns.Only one reading of 150 doesn't tell us that your wife is suffering from pregnancy induced hypertension.
I would suggest you to take serial readings of BP-in the morning and evening.
Also ask your wife to make a note of DFMC-Daily fetal movement count.
Follow salt restricted diet. There is no harm as such to your baby.
If she develops symptoms like blurring of vision, headache, haematuria, consult your gynecologist immediately. Hope i have answered your query. Thank you
