When can i have unprotected sex again?
Situation: I missed my pills Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night... I took the 3 on Monday morning, I'll take Monday's pill and Tuesday's pill at my normal time (nighttime) on Tuesday.
My question: Can I just assume I need the 7-day back-up (use other methods) and after the 7 days I will be fine? Should I give it like 10 days?
Please do not post inappropriate things or harsh comments on my situation, I will report you. Sorry to sound bitchy but my boyfriend's in the military and is coming home in 4 days and is only home for 3 weeks and then he's leaving for a year for Korea, so I need serious answers.. You don't need to be rude and tell me that I'm stupid for missing or whatever some people may have to say, I know its a stupid situation and trust me! I wish I wasn't in this situation right now, but I am, it's happened, and I need some assistance please.. I have missed 2 pills before then had sex unprotected on the 7th day before and I've been fine...
Please help, is there a way to fix this without starting a new pack altogether? Will I be fine after 7 days/what are my chances of being safe after 7 days? What about 10 days?

Hi,
You need to use extra contraception like condom for 7 days, in addition to continuing your pill. There is no need to use additional contraception for 10 days. What pill are you taking? How many pills are left in the pack after the last missed pill?
If there are less than 7 active pills left, then you need to start a new pack immediately after the last active pill of this pack. Do not take the inactive pills. If there are more than 7 pills left in the pack, follow as you used to do before.
