Is Intermittent Discomfort In The Testicle To The Left Like The Beginning Of Pain A Concern?
You Hello I m 22 years old and have had testicle discomfort for 9 months I went to the doctor and was given antibiotics for epididymitis and but the meds did not work after I had a urine test and blood test both came back negative I had an ultrasound done and the ruled out cancer and torsion but found a small cyst but they said would not be causing pain the feeling is more discomforting then painful and it comes and goes I do also have slight left side pains with them time to time can someone please help me find answers or at least give me an ideas of what this could be please
You had epididymitis and have been treated with antibiotics. Presently, you are diagnosed with testicular cyst. It causes you discomfort now and then. Chronic epididymitis may cause the formation of cyst. When cyst becomes infected it causes discomfort.
Testicular cysts do not need any treatment but if they cause pain or produce discharge the treating doctor recommends removing it by surgery. You can take acetaminophen to help reduce discomfort. Avoid any sexual activity till you are being treated. Take care of your hygiene and get it treated as early as possible. You may need surgical interference.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
