Hello,

You had epididymitis and have been treated with antibiotics. Presently, you are diagnosed with testicular cyst. It causes you discomfort now and then. Chronic epididymitis may cause the formation of cyst. When cyst becomes infected it causes discomfort.

Testicular cysts do not need any treatment but if they cause pain or produce discharge the treating doctor recommends removing it by surgery. You can take acetaminophen to help reduce discomfort. Avoid any sexual activity till you are being treated. Take care of your hygiene and get it treated as early as possible. You may need surgical interference.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
