Is It A Concern When The Uterus Is Globular And An Ill Defined Heterogeneous Structure Is Seen At The Anterior Myometrium?
Hi! My Gynecological Ultrasound report says....The uterus is globular with heterogenous echopattern. The anterior myometrium measures 3.9 cm while the posterior myometrium measures 1.4 cm with an ill defined heterogenous structure at the anterior myometeium measuring 4.3 x 4.1 cm. Do I have to worry about this? What do I need to do? Thank you.

Hi,
It seems you have intramural fibroid of medium size.
If you have no symptoms,it can be left alone and no treatment is required. Only it has to be observed for increasing size. Needs treatment if the pressure symptoms, menstrual problems or size more than 10 cm.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
