Is It A Good Sign That Halos And Starbursts Are Getting Smaller After Having Custom Vue Lasik?
I had Custom Vue Lasik two weeks ago, day and night vision very good, except have halos and starburts at night, which seem to be getting smaller. Is that a good sign that they might not be permanent? Also I did my research on my Dr. prior to the procedure, and he seemed to be very good. Do you know of Dr. Barry Wasserman from Princeton NJ?
Hello It seems from the history that you have underwent lasik following which you had halos and starbursts. These symptoms are because of corneal edema and dryness seen in the post operative period following lasik. The reduction in size of the starbursts and halos indicates improvement in the corneal edema following lasik. This is a good sign hence no need to worry and you will be fine.
Thank you
