Is It A Matter Of Concern Having Yellow Discharge, Cramps From The Third Week Of Pregnancy To The Current Eighth Week Of Pregnancy?

I am eight weeks and four days pregnant. Had a heart beat at six weeks and four days. Don t really feel pregnant since but no bleeding thank god. I do have a slight white/yellow discharge though and have had cramps all through the last four or five weeks. Is there any need to be concerned?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
some amount of pelvic discomfort is natural in early pregnancy.
This is due to increased blood supply to uterus and vagina. Also increased size of uterus causes a heavy feeling low in pelvic Area.
As heart beat was seen at 6 weeks scan there is no need for worry. If discharge persistent and itchy then consult your doctor for a pelvic examination to check for any infection.
Thanks.
Dr Bhagyashree.
