Is It A Matter Of Concern If Child Tested Positive For Dengue IgG And IgM Elisa?

Hi Doctor My kid has fever from 1f3 days and is on Medomol tablet and test confirmed that He is Negative with Dengue Antigen (NS-1) but positive with Dengue IgG and IgM elisa.Is there anything to worry.He doesnot have anyother symptoms other that fever which 101 degree now and intially it was 104 degree.

I've gone through your question and understand your concern.
your kid is having fever and you investigated him. NS1 was negative but I gM and Ig G for dengue was positive and you saying that he's feeling better so I don't think there is nothing to worry.Dengue is self limiting disease. it take about one week to recover. just make sure that he take good amount of fluids. there is no specific treatment for dengue just give Paracetamol for fever.
keep watch for warning sign , severe abdomen pain, persistent vomiting, cold limbs.
