Is It A Matter Of Concern If The Skin Under The Toenail Is Warm To Touch After Hurting It?
My son got his big toe caught briefly in a basketball type net. He said it was stuck but he pulled it out. it was bruised at the end under the toenail and at the very end of the toe. He was in a lot of pain, like he had stubbed it. I immediately put ice on it. It is warm to the touch, but the bruising is gone. He still says it hurts? What could have happened and should I be alarmed?
