Is It A Matter Of Concern To Have A Black Bruise On Breast With No Pain, Tenderness?

well over a week ago i discovered a round bruise on my left breast (inside area). I do not know where I obtained it and since I have von willebrand disease didn t think much of it. There is no pain or tenderness in the area. Today I saw myself in front of a mirror and this same bruise is a very ugly black color (earlier was just a normal bruise color). After a week of having a bruise it concerns me that it has gotten darker (not purple, almost black) instead of lighter. I did have a normal mammogram within the year. Should I be concerned?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The presence of a bruise without any history of injury in the area is a worrisome finding. The skin color changes are normal for bruise but bleeding disorder needs to be treated.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
