Dear savannah
i can understand your concerns
tongue piercing is can be done in diabetes but you need to undergo some precautions for that to prevent infection.
1. check your diabetic profile and make sure that its in good control
2.meet a doctor and consider taking prophylactic antibiotic as oral region contains numberous bacteria which can harm you whrn they enter blood.
3.consider meeting doctor after 3-4 days to make sure that there is no infection.
4. monitor blood sugars 3-4 days after doing piercing to make sure that everything is ok
5.advised to meet a professional for piercing
regards
