Is It Advisable To Give An Infant Omnacortil Forte For Swelling In Face?
sir,
my 2 years baby affect by over weight and body, face swelling. after urin test it came to know albumin contains ++ protine in urine dotor advise me for OMNOCORTIL FORTE (15mg/5ml) 10ml per dayfor 12 week . Is it advisable or not?
after two week intake of that syrub alumin level came to "0" but body is in swell condition only.
pls give me valuable advice to me.....

Hai.. By what you say he should have had a transient proteinuria or protein loss in urine. 2+ protein in urine alone is not a reason to start steroids or omnacortil. I would like to know if any other tests like cholesterol or renal function tests or serum albumin have been done before starting steroids...his blood pressure check & looking for blood in urine is also important.
