Is It Advisable To Go Through Tongue Piercing With A History Of Diabetes?

hi im a diabetic and was diagnosed 16 yr ago my hba1c is 9 but has always been high i am wonting my tongue pierced but worried about complications n infections i have had ear pierced few times n had top of my ear done yesturday all good so far please can you help me on deciding thanks. debbie x

thank you for your question before piercing your tongue, make your hba1c lower high hba1c levels. means your sugar levels are not under control it will interfere with your healing process. adequate exercises with intake of low carbohydrate diet and proper medications will help you in reducing your hba1c levels. after reducing it you can continue piercing
