Is It Advisable To Have Disc Replacement Instead Of Fusion For Herniation At C3-4?

I had a spinal fusion 3 years ago, C 4-5,5-6,6-7 with great results. I now have a herniation at C3-4. I am a surgical candidate for additional fusion. Is a disc replacement an option VS, a fusion? My surgeon has not done any disc replacements yet. Thanks Bob W.
