Is It Advisable To Take Dramamine With Other Migraine Medicines?

I ve got a question about a medication I m taking. Currently I take 6mg of Periactin daily to prevent migraines, and if I do get a migraine I ll take Imitrex + Ibuprofen. I m going to an amusement park tomorrow and might need to take my migraine medicine and Dramamine. Is it safe to take Dramamine with the above medications? Thanks

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
My opinion is using cyproheptadine along with dimenhydrinate would increase antimuscarinic side effects such as blurred vision, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, decreased sweating, difficulty urinating, abdominal cramping, constipation, and may also cause drowsiness, rapid heart beats, confusion, and memory problems.
Imitrex and Ibuprofen combination may be taken for acute attack. But, Periactin and Dramamine would produce adverse side effects and hence consumption of both is not advisable.
Please also avoid alcohol and tobacco also with those medications.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer. If you have any further query related to this, please write back.
