Is It Advisable To Travel By Flight Having Diagnosed With Concussion And Nausea?
Our 30 year old son fell and has a deep cut (40+stitches) in his forehead and scalp. As a result also has been diagnosed with a severe concussion with nausea and now a bleed. The bleed has now stopped and the nausea is gone. The injury occurred June 16. He is due to fly home alone from China on July 23rd-direct flight of about 15 hours. Is it safe for him to fly? If so, should he fly alone? Thank you for any advise.
Hello,Thanks for using HCM. It is long time since that unfortunate incidence, hope his stitches have been removed has green signal from his doctor about internal condition of his brain, that can only confirmed after a ct scan, and comparing with recent one. If not, he should get it done. After that there no reason why he can not travel any distance. GOOD LUCK.
