Is It Dangerous To Take Clomiphene And Folic Acid Together On Same Day?
Im Catherine 31 and expecting a baby since 2 years of my marriage. The result shown that im healthy. And i got presc. 6 tablets of Clomiphene 50mg ( 1 tablet/day). And i bought myself Folic Acid tablets (which contains 400mg folic acid + L-Methylfolic 416mg/tablet). The question is, is it dangerous or forbid if i take Clomiphene and Folic Acid together the same day? (ex: i take Clompihen in the morning and folic acid during lunch time) Thank you very much.

There is no problem on taking clomiphene and folic acid on the same day.These medications are different and should not cause any problem for your future pregnancy. Folic acid is given to prevent some very serious neurologic problems in babies. It is very important to take Folic acid in women who are desiring a pregnancy and it is most effective in the first 4 to 9 weeks of pregnancy, which is when the baby is forming in the mothers womb.
Clomipene on the other hand is used to increase ovulation in women, and therefore increasing the chances of becoming pregnant.As you can see both medications are different.
