Is It Enough To Take Nebivolol 5 Mg And Telmistran 40 For Hypertension?

Hello Doctor,
I am 61 male asian. To control my hypertension I am taking Nebivolol 5 mg and Telmistran 40 daily. Mostly my blood pressure remains 135/85 and pulse 58- 65 pm. However, twice a week, during winter days my blood pressure shoots up to 175/110. When BP rises, I feel cold and my pulse is 60 pm.
I have hypothyroidism for which I am taking Thyroxine sodium 100 mcg daily and it remain controlled.
My recent blood test of Gulocose, RFT, LFT, Lipid Profile, Thyroid Profile CBC etc were within normal limits.
Please advise on my blood pressure control whether change in medication needed.

I really appreciate your concern, the blood pressure is highly fluctuating phenomenon, the medicine that you are taking (Nebivolo 5 mg is selective beta blocker having action of angina pain killer, Tab Telmistran 40 mg is angiotensin receptor antagonist ) these is the excellent combination of two antihypertensive drugs and exert very good antihypertensive effect, no need to change the drug, your blood pressure is well under the control, take care and hope this information helps you, have nice day.
